Hawgsmoke is a bi-annual bombing and tactical gunnery competition for the A-10 Warthawg community. Last held on 22-25 March 2006, Squadrons from across the country and around the globe (as far away as South Korea and Germany) send a team to fly and compete for the honor of “Best of the Best” in ground attack and target destruction.  Hosted by the winners of the previous competition, Hawgsmoke is an intense competition and an opportunity to share in the camaraderie and fellowship of the worlds premier Close Air Support fighter, as well as legacy of its pilots and support crews.

The next competition will be hosted by the 303d Fighter Squadron October 2008 in Salina, Kansas.I will to this page and information becoms avalable.
